#asktheexperts hi doctor sometimes my baby does sounds like she is having pain in her tummy ..and she does in night ...so how will I know what pain is that..she is on formula feed plz suggest what to day ? can I give gripe water ....and colic drops daily in evening times if yes how much should I give she is 5 months old

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes you can give 5 drops of colic drops daily, To prevent from getting gassy- Feed in upright position. Allow her a good latch. Burping after every feeding, will help her ease the gas.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Constipation is the most common cause, but other culprits include gas, reflux, GERD, colic, stomach flu, upper respiratory infections, motion sickness, food allergies, lactose intolerance, intestinal blockage (obstruction), food allergies, other infections, and appendicitis.
