#asktheexperts hi doctor, my son is 3 years 8 months old..when he was a small baby that time onwards I'm giving Zyrcold syrup 5 ml as per doctor suggestion.he has a cough now.. should I give the same or any other syrup

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. only give cough and cold medicine after consulting a doctor, as it might worsen the issue without guidance.g consider home remedies like tulsi ginger with honey (for children over 1) and turmeric gmilk once or twice a day. provide warm water, nasal saline drops, and a warm diet. avoid exposing the child to drastic temperature changes.
