#asktheexperts Hi doctor my son goes poop in standing position. he tries to sit for 5-10 mins. then he gets up. even he don't try to go potty. we are using mu-out powder for 3 months. but he doesn't want to poop in sitting.

If your child doesn’t want to poop in the sitting position then why are you giving a laxative because it’s only given when the motion is a problem don’t give unnecessary if your child is comfortable pooping you should do counselling to your child that this is not the correct way because this is going to be more difficult for you to pass a motion
