Q.

#asktheexperts hi doctor my one year old baby walks very fast.. she slips and fall from her own urine she passes as we reduce the usage of diaper . though we take lot of precautions to stop her from falling sometimes she is too fast and she falls doctor is this kind of falls very serious? after fall she cries for sometime and plays as usual but she does fall everyday

A. it is important to see that the child is not having any visible injury. also if there is any visible injury you should visit the doctor. it is important to observe the child for 24 hours to 48 hours for any complications relatedf to injury. you can give paracetamol to the child for pain as well as for any swellingf which develops. you can apply warm compresses over any swelling. if you feel that the child is having some abnormal behaviour after the injury you should visit the doctor immediately
