#asktheexperts Hi doctor, my baby was given BCG on 7th day after birth but now she is one month old and no scar till date. is this normal?

You need to wait for a couple more weeks as the bcg area will start swelling up get filled with pus and then it will rupture leaving a scar

Hello This car does not come these days things have started changing quite a lot there is no scar after BCG vaccination so don’t worry about the vaccination start working as soon as it is given there is no on necessity that the child is going to have a scar because of that
