Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. the child is not having proper weight gain you can contact with your doctor try to give exclusive breastfeeding till 5 to 6 months of age and the weight gain should be there properly

Ideally the weight gets double the birth weight by five months..
