Q.

#asktheexperts hi doctor..my baby is two and half months old..he is so gassy..he is a formula fed baby and I burp him after every feed..still he is gassy.. doctor prescribed gastica drops..can I give him those drops on daily basis?

A. Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut . other factors include cow's milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feeding, not giving proper burping after each feed. Digestive enzymes like aglozhyme drops can be given as suggested by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptomjs .

A. Hello dear parent! You can give it as and when required. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Give good tummy time everyday to aid in digestion and reduce gastric issues. Do cycling movements with both your baby’s legs to relieve discomfort. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy.
