Q.

#asktheexperts hi doctor. My baby is 9 months old but his pee counts is only 4-5 times a day. Is it okay? He is active and poops 2 times a day. He takes feeds well too. Is it a concern ? He has got fever for past 2 days but now he is back to normal. Has got cough and is having his cough syprup alone.

A. the frequency of urination should be more than 5 or 6 times per day. the colour of the urine should be pale yesllow to transparent. if the above two criteria is achieved then no need to worry but if it is less than kindly give more fluid food, water and jauice to the child. please do not worry if the child is not passing urine at night time.

A. Hello dear parent! Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is healthy and staple in your family. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in your child’s diet. Good luck and take care
