#asktheexperts Hi Doctor, My baby is 10 month old and we don't see the signs of tooth eruption.Is there a standard time frame.Also he is passing loose stools (green) from past one week.Is the sign of toothing. Thanks, Lokesh

A. Hi usually green coloured stools are signs of teething phase.. check inside the oral cavity for swollen and hardened gums, kid putting every stuff in his mouth to chew on..kid showing irritated behaviour.

It’s Not necessarily a sign that your child is having its teeth don’t worry about it the process can go up till the age of 17 months before that if your child gets it at any point of time then that is perfectly alright and within the time frame so as of now you need not worry about it but if your child is having loose tools for a longer time then you don’t need to consult your
