#asktheexperts hi doctor. My baby girl is 16 months old. Her teeths are erupting but nowadays she cries a lot and twist her mouth as if its paining. I am unable to understand as she is very irritated all the time. What to do

A. for oral cavity pain / dental pain you can give paracetamol to the child and if it is not improving you can go for syrup ibugesic also. please try to maintain hygiene of thed oral cavity and if the child is having dental carries then a dental examination will also be required. meet your paediatrician who will tell you whether examination byd the dentist is required or not and will also rule out any type of local pathology which might be causing pain
