Q.

#asktheexperts hi doctor, my baby cries a lot while going to sleep.. we need to hold in arms and bounce literally to put baby sleep .. pls let me know any solution thabk you in advance

A. Colic in babies may be considered when baby is crying for more than 2 to 3 hours with no other specific reason and in a high pitched cry with arching of the body and flushed face. There could be many causes for colic in babies like gerd immature digestive system allergies ingulping of aur while feeding and lactose intolerance. Mothers diet and lifestyle can also be a major factor. Management could be in form of medicines like probiodtics digesftive enzymes antiflatulence and some home remedies. Avoidance of formula milk cow's milk . Cycling manuvours to relieve gas massage and proper burping after each feeding is also helpful .

A. When But I was already used to sleeping like this they do not want to sleep straight on the bed so to change this habit you have to start from the day time when you make your child sleep during the day time make your child straight sleep on the bed only you can put your child properly and that is how your child’s pattern of sleep is going to change
