#asktheexperts hi Doctor my 3year old son have not yet started speaking, some says it can be a sign of autism..this make me tensed please advise

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hello ma’am The child is not speaking as per the age that does not mean that your child is autistic. There are a lot of signs associated with autism which is not responding to name not making an eye contact not following simple instructions you know there is a simple science for that but if your child is not only speaking then you should be consulting a speech therapist for the same with proper therapy is an exercise your child will start to speak over the period
