Q.

#asktheexperts Hi doctor my 2yrs 3 months old baby girl had high fever for the past few days. Now she is fine but we still went ahead and did blood and urine test as per our paediatrician advice to rule out dengue. In the number of test doc had adviced C reactive protein serum test was also one. While the entire report was normal and dengue showed negative I notice CRP 60.6mg/L so wanted to know if it’s normal or should I worry about it?? Attached the report

A. Hello dear parent! Can indicate some sort of inflammation. Consult your doctor for further assistance in this regard. Complete the course of treatment as advised by your doctor. Keep Babyhug medicine spoon handy. Good luck and take care
