#asktheexperts hi doctor in family two people got COVID positive .I have 6 months baby ,he has cold nd cough what is the treatment I should do nd even I got fever as a feeding mother what are the medication I should to take

A. yes feed if fever, just use mask, sanitize your hands Omicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily. Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion. Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough. It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .

A. Hello mom If your baby came in a contact with Covid patient and in such case first you have to check your babies Covid test. And if the results are positive then you have to consult with your paediatrician to doctor will advise you some medication which will help in boosting your babies immunity. Till the time if your baby is having fever then you can give Calpol
