#asktheexperts helo dr. abhi 4 days pehle mere baby ka 3.5 month ka vaccination hua hai 4 days hogaya still he haa pain in left leg nd wo apna left leg nai hila raha agar touch karne jaye vaccine ki jagah par to wo cry karne lagta hai pls suggest me what to doo

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is fnot causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry.
Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given forf fever or pain.
Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .
