#AsktheExperts helloo doctor my son is 16 months old... He is suffering with fever from morning onwards today.. Suddenly he got fits at 8pm..we went to hospital doctor said it is caused by high fever... Please tell me is it danger to my baby in future.. I'm very sad to see my baby in that position.. Before didn't get fits.. This is the first time.. Please tell me why it is happened to my baby.. Please doctor🙏

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose ch . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. It Can happen due to high fever but it’s better that you always keep a watch on to your child if your child has fever and the fever rises then if your kid child a seizure the next time then you have to be very cautious because Caesars are never a good indication
