#asktheexperts hello sir...! my son 1.5 month old ....initially my breastmilk was not sufficient...he reduced weight for about 15%. then doctors said fed him with formula milk. later on he is increasing his weight. first 10 days gap he has increased about 1/2 kg....later around 17days gap he has increased about 1 kg....now he is 4.4kg. is this normal?

A. Dear mum, weight of 4.4 kg is a normal weight for 1 and half months old baby, do not worry. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier.
