Child will get tired and will start sleeping on time. Also plan and follow a routine for child like 6pm milk, playtime after milk, study time after playing then dinner, walk time and then story time and then sleep time. Probably you also need to sleep or at least be in bed with child. Soon child’s body clock will be tuned to routine according.

You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger.
Inxf older children a proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time whith sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.
