#asktheexperts Hello, my baby is 5 months 16 days old and he's completely on formula milk. How much milk should I feed him per feed and how many times a day? His birth weight was 2.23 kgs. Also when should I start solids for him?

A. Hello! As per the age what should be the minimum formula quantity would have been mentioned on the packaging of the product. Check that. Ideally it is 150ml per kg weight. If child is around five kgs, then the minimum milk intake should be around 750 ML per day so plan accordingly. Semi solid inverter should be introduced to the child only after completion of six months.
