Q.

#asktheexperts Hello ma'am, my daughter got her first dose of influenza vaccination on 19th September (the day she completed 6 months) and the doctor had recommended the next dose date as 20th October. But due to travelling, I have not been able to get her vaccinated yet...so my question to you is when can I get my baby given the second dose of influenza?

A. Maam even if you push the vaccination by the time of 4 to 5 weeks in case of emergency like you are travelling and all then there is no problem it is an optional vaccination which is why even if you get it done a little later it is not going to make a difference
