#asktheexperts hello ma'am . I am entering my 9th month of pregnancy and suffering from sore throat since past 2 days with throat pain and irritation? what can I take to help it ? is it safe to consume lozenges like strepsils for the same?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. yes you can use Strepsils during pregnancy also and also you should take steam twice daily you can have haldi dudh which is very effective
once have proper examination with your doctor

better to avoid such things
instead of it,do warm salt water gargling atleast thrice in a day
drink Luke warm water
keep your self well hydrated
