#asktheexperts hello DR. my baby is 1 year old and he is suffering with chest congestion and cough which food should i offer him . as he is eating nothing. please help me out

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. there is no problem offering the baby traditional foods even if the baby is having both cold and cough for further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management

Due to chest congestion there is loss of appetite.
Give steam inhalation to your baby. This will help in liquifying mucus and clear the chest congestion
Apply babyhug rapid relief roll on or vicks babyrub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold.

Give warm soup, warm food which ur baby likes to eat.
