#asktheexperts hello dr I am having little fever can I feed my baby…..???

A. yes u may feed baby . as paracetamol medicine is not secreted in milk. It is virus born disease,involves upper respiratory airways like ear, nose , throat mostly . Commonly it is associated with high grade fever. In kids it may causes gastric and gut upset also. Please offer kid home based cereals based pulses enriched energy dens food like boiled egg, sprouts of pulses, whole flour chapati. Add ginger, garlic, saffron, ilayachi in food. Maintain hand hygiene, proper social distancing. Spend 7 to 8 hours in sleeping. Regular exercise or yoga what ever suits you. In case of appearance of symptoms give symptomatic medication. And consult in hospital.
