#asktheexperts hello doctor !! recently my baby started to feed on formula along with breastmilk..earlier when she was only on breastmilk we used to give vitazyme drops as she had problem with motion...but now she is having 5 bottles feed of formula and after each feed she is getting motion with and without drops...what should I do ?? should I continue to use those drops and is it ok if my baby gets motion so many times

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode e of of food / milk intake. if the growth / w weight gain of the child is proper there is no need to worry about this phenomena. usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child

U Get it checked with your doctor maybe your child is not able to digest the milk at you are giving which is why your child is immediately passing a motion don’t continue with any medicine without consultation of your doctor kindly just re-check it with your paediatrician ones
