#AsktheExperts Hello Doctor, my son is peeing for every 15-20 mins is it normal in kids or should we consult for physical examination please suggest. He is 18 months old(make). Thanks!!

A. if the frequency of passing urine has suddenly increased in the child then you need to rule out urinary tract infection it is better that you consult your doctor for an evaluation

A. Certain neurological conditions may cause these symptoms. Another cause of overactive bladder is a condition called pollakiuria, or frequent daytime urination syndrome. Children who have pollakiuria urinate frequently. In some cases, they may urinate every five to 10 minutes or urinate between 10 and 30 times a day.
