#asktheexperts hello doctor, my son doesn't have soft spot on his head at the time he born. Now he is 8 months old. He is beautifully growing up by the grace of God. my question is , is there anything to fear about that he does not have the soft spot on his head?

A. this is the anterior fontanel, this is gap of skull bones to provide space of growing brain. this will allow head bones remolding According to brain growth this may close physiologicalky between 12 months to 18 months . but early closure needs to be evaluation of baby physically.

A. No There is nothing you need to worry about it is absolutely normal and since you already mention that your child is going a perfectly beautifully and everything is good everything is just going perfect then there is nothing you need to worry about at all this is completely normal
