#asktheexperts hello doctor my last period was on 6 June and this time i missed my periods. I have taken UPT at home and instantly I got negative result but after 1 hour got the second line, doctor prescribed me to take susten sr 200 tablet thrice a day for 3 days. My question is am i pregnant or not ? when should I check again ?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. the result after 1 hour should not be considered and only the result within first 10 minutes is to be considered so it is mostly negative and if you are very much confused you should first recheck after one week again and then start with the medications

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. they have not done ultrasound yet, even doctor said upt shoes negative result but still periods is Missed so prescribed me susten sr 200 and said this tablet will support pregnancy and if not pregnant then you'll get periods my question is if am not pregnant then when will I'll get periods or if pregnant then when should I take test again?

If the second line was visible after one hour I don’t think so it would be the right thing but if your doctor has advised you with some medicine then they could be a chance of possibility that there is a pregnancy if they have done an ultrasound and all so I would recommend you to take a test in the morning tomorrow for better clarity
