#asktheexperts Hello Doctor, My kid 4 years 9 months old. For fever doctor has suggested “paracetamol & mefenamic acid oral suspension” in January of this year but we usually give him P500 with 2.5 mL of dosage. Should we give mefenamic acid with paracetamol if he is down with fever ? Internet is suggesting it’s not safe. Kindly guide me.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician7 months agoA. you should give paracetomol in right dose for fever . meftal is given im high grade fever and only after doctors suggestion. give lots of fluids to him

Ma’am very sure the doctors knows better than the internet does because the doctors have degree they studied for years to be a doctor and treat other people so what is on internet is not always correct these days everybody is running behind internet and believe that what is there but it actually is better to always follow what doctor advises
