#asktheexperts hello doctor ....my daughter is three months old and she doesn't poop everyday she poop almost after 6-7 days ...she is mostly on bm but take formula about 90 ml in a day ...is this normal or should I do anything ....plz help

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. that s called nromal. It is normal for the baby to not pass motion freely even for up to one week if the baby is on breastfeeding so no need to worry . if it is above one week or baby s in trouble then you can apply glycerine suppository for easy motion of the baby . no syrup for medicine is given orally till 2 years of age for constipation by self as not recommended.
