#asktheexperts hello doctor.....my daughter is 9 months old from past 4 days she had diarrhoea with green stools we visited local pediatrician he suggested us ors and prebiotic sachet.today she had blood stands and mucus in her stool only one time.After that she had greenish stools with no blood .can I know the reason and cause is there anything to b concerned?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Blood in stools can be due to infection so it’s better to consult your Paediatrician once again and if required get a stool test done to rule out the infection
