#asktheexperts hello doctor, my daughter is 7 months old, recently I noticed there was a kind of swelling back of her head below that are near to ear, may I know what it is , does it should be treated

A. they are lymph nodes and are part of normal human body. you have to take any intervention and meet your doctor only if they are causing pain as well as they are increasing in size. many times durings infection they will increase in size and they will again decrease in size when the infection gets controlled.

A. Did your child fall down or anything just check for that if that’s not the case instead of the swelling is happening I would advise you to get it physically checked with your doctor because without that we really cannot be sure about the correct reason behind it
