Q.

#asktheexperts hello doctor. my daughter is 6 month old, having fever from yesterday.. i gave her calpol syrup( paracetamol 100 mg) according to the dosage mentioned at the bottle that's 0.9 ml. went to a nearby doctor he prescribed ibuprofen+ paracetamol oral suspension ( paracetamol 162.mg) 3.5 ml 4 times a day ..so this much amount of syrup can be given... isn't it too high..??

A. That is definitely way to high to be given to the child of course it would not be advisable for you to give such a heavy dosage of the medicine rest you need to check with your doctor one time because this is actually going to be super high
