#asktheexperts Hello Doctor. My daughter is 14 month old,she is having cold, cough and fever also, giving medicine also.kindly suggest some home remedies to stop runny nose,as she is not taking medicine properly.its very difficult to give medicine as well as proper meal . kindly suggest Thank you

many medicines can be mixed with water food juice and milk and given to the child so please confirm with your doctor which medicine can be mixed with food and given to the child.
also you can keep some taste changing food in your hand and give that taste enhancer immediately after giving the medicine which might decrease the chances of vomiting post giving medicine.
many times a divergence technique also helps in small children that is you rgive the medicine and immediately divert the child with some music or sound or playful activity.
you may givde the medicine with the help of a dropper or a syringe (without needle) from the corner of the mouth
