#asktheexperts hello doctor, my daughter is 1.5 months old, but still I grind the food which I give her as she is not able to chew her food.. if she finds a grain of rice in the food she vomits.. how to overcome this.

A. Hi Mom, It is common in toddlers. Nothing to worry. When child grows older she will able to chew food properly. Try to give pressure cooked foods initially. Do not grind the pressure cooked food. Or you can also try to mash the food using your hand. Start with few quantity on daily basis. Also try to give more finger foods to your child which is easily chewable. Be an example and show how you chewing the food infront of your child.
