#asktheexperts hello doctor my boy is 3.8yrs since from 4days he is suffering from chest congestion due to cough and from 2days he got fever also 100 to 101. started bebulation and syrup but still cough in the chest. What to do? running nose but few time and from yesterday some time hollow

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child.
For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.
For wet coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child
Indirect steam help in decreasing csoughing
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times sper day.
Give warm water to drink.
