#asktheexperts hello doctor my baby is having fever from morning evening it got increased afternoon 1 o clk we gave him paracetamol(calpol) syrup and at 7 o clk in the evening . but fever is still increased shall I give syrup now? at 12 o clk is it ok?? please tell me thank you

A. First of kindly share his body temperature details abd repeat the dose of paracetamol after every four to five hours interval abd sponge bath the baby if fever is high grade and give more liquids like coconut water ORS

A. U. Should maintain a minimum gap of six hours so you can give it at 1 PM now straight also the fever temperature is not coming down then you should start doing cold sponging on the forehead and behind the needs of the child that’s definitely going to help in reducing down the temperature
