#asktheexperts hello doctor! my baby is 7 months old now he is not sleeping properly the entire night from the beginning, he wakes up very frequently. please suggest how to make him sleep properly. Even I'm not getting enough sleep it's affecting my day time work

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. at this age if there is disturbance and sleep it might be due to some type of physical disturbance or due to environmental disturbance.
you have to rule out teething pain which might be causing discomfort. see for any gastric problem like gas or digestion problem (constipation/ diarrhoea) due to the food the child might be consuming which might be causing discomfort. you can give feed to the child because sometimes due to hunger the cshild might not be able to sleep
environmental disturbance like temperature variations which might be either hot or cold weather. change in pillow or mattress. changing place of sleeping can also disturb the sleepz

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello make sure the baby is getting sufficient breast milk so the baby will be able to have a good sleep and if bm is not sufficient try to offer infant formula milk stage 2 using a bpa free sipper like Babyhug which can help and any concern then check with your doctor
