#asktheexperts Hello Doctor, My baby is 10 weeks old currently and she sleeps for long stretch of 6-8 hours at night since she was 6 weeks old. Is this normal and should I wake my baby for feed. Her birth weight was 2.94kgs and currently she is 4.35 kgs.

A. dear mum, weight of 4.35 kg is a normal weight for 10 weeks old baby considering a birth weight of 2.94 kg. there is no need to wake up your baby for feeding. you should feed as per your baby's demand. if your baby is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is sufficient.
