Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Yes u can add sugar and salt. Start with a pinch of salt and gradually increase it upto the ideal amount needed. Instead of sugar u can go for natural sweeteners like palm sugar or palm candy or jaggery or brown sugar. After one year u can slowly start giving everything that u eat as a family may be in a less spicier version. Some food restrictions will be there until the baby is one year old like no cows milk or nuts or egg whites etc., but now u can give everything. Just follow the two day gap rule between introducing new foods. This will ensure ur baby doesnt become a fussy eater.
