#asktheexperts hello doctor my baby girl is 4 months When should I give her liquid and solid

A. No it is not advisable to give solid and liquid to a 4 month child.aif the baby is exclusively on breastmilk, it van be used in place of liquid for e.g as medium to give medicine etc. As far solid food is concerned it is not advisable yet u can consult your doctor Is baby is on formula milk same can be used as a liquid...or boiled water but only in little amounts. But best option is to consult your paedetricien before taking any step.

A. you should give her solids after baby completes six months as ragi porridge wheat porridge rice porridge Dalia sabudana khichdi cerelac puree mashed boiled fruits and vegetables as potato sweet potato carrot papaya pear sapota banana apple pumpkin remember one new food one at a time
