#asktheexperts Hello doctor, my 1.3 year old banged her head against the wardrobe while playing and her forehead got swollen. Is there an ointment to reduce swelling? Should I take her to a doctor?

A. Hai good evening !! If baby is active and playing normally then dont worry apply coconut oil it will reduce swelling. Do icing for 2-3 minutes (ice bag ot wrap ice cubes in cloth )repeat it for every hour it will reduce swelling,pain . If baby vomited after hitting or sleeping more than usual looks dull,dizzy then consult doctor.
