#asktheexperts Hello Doctor, I have completed 38 weeks of pregnancy, my cervix is completely closed. Baby weight on 37th week was 3 kgs. Is there any chance of getting labour naturally? will the cervix open on its own, or a stripping membrane is necessary by the gynaec? I am worried that the baby would be gaining weight, since i am gaining weight, my total weight gain till now is 15 kgs throughout the pregnancy. Kindly advice if we should do the stripping membrane & try for normal delivery or go for a c section
