#asktheexperts hello doctor, I am sending my babies navel photo as an attachment... she is 1month 23 days old...is her navel normal...its not going inside...will it take some days to get normal...i am worried...please help and suggest...

A. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age. with growing aage it regresses and goes inside it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated. meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required
