A. Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given
after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk
after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good.
that's very slow process

A. Introducing the Baby-Led Weaning (BLW) method to your 6-month-old can be a gradual and exciting process. Here are some steps and tips to get started:
1. **Readiness Signs**: Ensure your baby is developmentally ready for solids, which typically starts around 6 months. Signs include sitting up with support, showing interest in food, and losing the tongue-thrust reflex (pushing food out of the mouth with the tongue).
2. **Choose Appropriate Foods**: Opt for foods that are soft, easy to grip, and large enough for your baby to hold. Suitable options include steamed vegetables (e.g., carrots, sweet potatoes, broccoli), soft fruits (e.g., bananas, avocados), and pieces of well-cooked meat or fish.
3. **Prepare Food Safely**: Cut food into finger-sized pieces or sticks that are easy for your baby to grasp. Avoid small, hard foods that could pose a choking hazard (e.g., whole nuts, raw vegetables).
4. **Offer Variety**: Introduce a variety of tastes and textures to expand your baby's palate. Rotate different foods throughout the week to ensure a balanced diet.
5. **Encourage Self-Feeding**: Allow your baby to self-feed by placing food pieces within reach on their tray or table. This encourages independence and helps develop fine motor skills.
6. **Supervise and Monitor**: Stay close and monitor your baby closely during meals to ensure they are handling food safely and comfortably. Be patient as they explore textures and learn to chew.
7. **Respond to Cues**: Let your baby eat at their own pace. They may initially play with food, lick, or suck on it before swallowing. Avoid rushing or coaxing them to eat.
8. **Continue Breastfeeding or Formula Feeding**: Solid foods complement breast milk or formula at this stage. Continue breastfeeding or formula feeding as usual to meet your baby's nutritional needs.
9. **Safety First**: Always supervise meals and be prepared for gagging, which is a normal part of learning to eat solid foods. Learn the difference between gagging (a protective reflex) and choking (difficulty breathing).
10. **Consult Your Pediatrician**: If you have concerns or questions about introducing solids using BLW, consult your pediatrician. They can offer personalized advice based on your baby's health and development.
Baby-led weaning can be an enjoyable way for your baby to explore new foods and textures while promoting independence and fine motor skills. Enjoy this exciting milestone in your baby's development!
