#asktheexperts Hello Doctor, everyone at home tested positive for Covid yesterday. My little one is 4.5 months old. He had 99 temperature yesterday night we have given him sinarest drops. Temperature was fine till today evening. It is now 98.6. He's having little cough and nose block also. Please suggest what we can do. We can't take him to clinic as well since all tested positive.

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required hilike ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
