Q.

#asktheexperts Hello, Doctor. About a week ago, my baby experienced diarrhea. Before this, my baby had been passing stools every 4-5 days. However, now my baby is passing stools twice a day, and I've noticed a small amount of mucus-like substance in the stool. He is now 6-month-and-12-day-old. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

A. If your child is suffering with cough or something or if you giving any medication then maybe the mucus is flowing out into the poop of your child in that case it would be normal but if you’re not giving any medication still constantly you see mucus then you should consult the doctor once
