#asktheexperts hello doc my baby is 8month old, she is having running nose from last week, I m giving her maxtra drops and also using nasal saline drops but can't see satisfactory results...can you please help?

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated sycmptoms like cough and fever which needs treatmfent accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
