#asktheexperts Hello doc Good evening My son is 5 months old.. he has started sucking his fingers and i think because of which he is having less milk. Does finger feeding hamper hunger?

A. hi it is not always indicating that a child is not getting enough milk. mam ,as far as your child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day ,it means that your child is getting enough milk. no need to worry
