#asktheexperts hello dctr...want to ask if I can take deworming medicine while on vitamin d3 medication? n while still breastfeeding

Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night stime and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should be repeated every six monsths at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor

Yes you can take a medication it is totally safe to have a medicine while being a lactating mother and now your baby is more than one year old so in between a time you can give meals to your baby. Now baby should take at least four meals in a day so you have to maintain a diet plan according to that
