Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. for tooth development and eruption the first important thing is that the child should not have deficiency of calcium and vitamin d.
deficiency is there or not will be told by the doctor.
there is no need to worry because many times the first tooth eruption may occur as late as 16 to 18 months of age also
so if your personal doctor is not worried then no need to worry from your side
if the weight of the child is with the normal limits do not worry about the weight gain
AthiraMom of a 4 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi Mom
pls don't worry about it. Concentrate on giving calcium rich foods to your baby. Provide ragi porridge, calcium supplements, boiled egg etc . This will really work.
Best wishes!
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. The child can have it first teeth by the age of 17 months also so currently you do not have to worry about that and on the second side if your child is not gaining weight then maybe your child is not either eating well or the body is not responding well to whatever your child is eating so you should consult a nutritionist regarding thatWrite Your Answer Here
